{"id":125,"date":"2023-12-02T11:35:52","date_gmt":"2023-12-02T11:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kingstonbeachfunrun.com\/?page_id=125"},"modified":"2024-05-11T23:05:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-11T23:05:21","slug":"prizes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kingstonbeachfunrun.com\/index.php\/prizes\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules, Fees &#038; Prizes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<h3>First place Male and Female will receive $200<br \/>\nSecond-placed Male and Female will receive $100<br \/>\nThird-placed Male and Female will receive $50<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Spot Prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following Spot Prizes will be drawn randomly from ALL event participants<\/p>\nGift Voucher from Bruny Island Cruises<br \/>\nLoads of other great prizes from local sponsors\n<p>Winners must be in attendance<\/p>\nRace bibs will be available at the Little Athletics Centre at 14 Gormley Rd, Kingston.\nDue to road closures, cars must be parked at the Kingborough Sports Centre&#8217;s overflow car park (Kingston View Drive) before 8:45.\nA bus shall be conveying participants back to the car park area after the event.\n\u2022 Race commences at 9:00 am sharp<br \/>\n\u2022 Presentations will begin at 10:00 am sharp\n<h3>Fees<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>$40.00 per Adult (Over 16)<\/li>\n<li>$15.00 per Junior (Ages 6-16)<\/li>\n<li>$95.00 per Family (based on minimum of 2 adults and two juniors.)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0$0 per Cub (0-5).\u00a0 \u00a0 Cubs must be under close supervision of a Guardian adult entrant (over 18), who starts with walkers behind runners for safety. Race Bibs for CUBS shall be printed rather than with timing chips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When registering as a family, check the price and list accuracy. Our family registration listing allows for variation in families: two adults and two teens or two adults and up to four children.<\/p>\n<p>Under 12 must have a guardian with them along the course.<\/p>\n<h2>Run and Walk Rules<\/h2>\n<strong>START ASSEMBLY<\/strong>: All participants must be assembled in the<br \/>\nAssembly Area 10 minutes prior to start times of race, with race bibs pinned after collection (7:30 am &#8211; 8:45 am) from the Little Athletics Centre at 14 Gormley Rd, Kingston.\n<p>Race numbers must be securely attached to the front of your top body cover and clearly displayed at all times, or you may be considered to have abandoned the race. All results and times will be processed according to your race number.<\/p>\n<p>Runners assembling at the starting line and not at the assembly area, accepting lifts or entering the race at points other than the start area will have their number taken, be disqualified and not recorded. There will be no appeal against any disqualification.<\/p>\n<p>Race numbers must be collected by 8:35 so participants can be at the start by 8:40 a.m. for the safety briefing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REFRESHMENT STATIONS<\/strong>: will be placed as close as practicable to the finish line<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALL COMPETITORS<\/strong>: must obey the directions of route marshals at all times.
